"I love you Mom"

Jack, for the first two years of your life, you weren't the most cuddly guy. You liked your space. From the day you were born, until now, you have never liked anyone to hold your hand. However, once Gracie was born, you saw us snuggling her all the time, you wanted to snuggle. Now, you are the snuggle king, and we LOVE it.

For the last few months, you have said "I love you Mom," a few times a day, out of nowhere. I NEVER get used it. Every time you say it, I melt. Even thought you say it all the time, you say it like you mean it ever time. Also, you say it to Dad and Gracie.

You are the sweetest little guy.

Love,
Mom

Swim Team Try-Outs

You were so awesome yesterday. You have only been 4 for a few weeks, and you made the Kentlands Kingfish Pre-team! Yesterday was the try-outs and I wasn't sure if you were going to be able to swim the required 1/2 length of the pool or know what to do. We got there early, and I couldn't believe how focuses and pumped you were to try out. I think you thought it was a race. You kept telling me you wanted to win. You looked so little, yet, so old too. You jumped right in, and swam your little heart out. You did great, and everyone couldn't believe how well you did. I was so proud of you. Gracie, sat on the sidelines the whole time and cheered her little heart out. She said "Go, Jack go" until you finished. When you were done, you let out this HUGE burp that everyone heard. They guy asked if you were ok, and you said "yes, I just like to burp."

When it was over, they gave you a swim hat and lanyard. You have been wearing them ever since.

I was so proud of you today!!!

Love,
Mom

Shots

Today was a nightmare. For some unknown reason, I had all three kids shots at the same time. The doctor determined you need a speech evaluation. Then you got your shots. Dad sat with you when you got the shots, and I stood outside with the other kids, You were so sad and told me "Mom, they put holes in my leg." I hate shots day.

Love,
Mom
